How does it work?

Ordering parts from overseas couldn’t be easier. Let us do all the work! Below is a rundown on how it all works.

Step 1: Browse our extensive catalogue of the finest aftermarket parts the world has to offer.
Moonlight Racing has one of the largest online aftermarket parts catalogues in New Zealand. This is a constantly growing database as products are added almost daily! We have created the website to be easy to navigate and help you find what you are after as quickly as possible.

Step 2: Add your selected items to the shopping cart.
This step is simple! On any product page there is an “Add to Cart” button. All you need to do is specify the quantity you are after and click it! Voila, you now have products in your virtual shopping cart ready to checkout. If you’re just having a bit of a browse you can add the products to a wish list so you can easily keep tabs on the pricing for the bits you are after.

Step 3: Check out and make payment.
Once the items are in your cart all you need to do is checkout to finalise the order. Before doing this we recommend making an account so you don’t have to keep adding your details in each time you place orders; you can do this at the checkout step.

We do have lay buy options available as well but not through the website. Please contact our staff for more information.

Step 4: Twiddle your thumbs for a wee while.
This is the part that is usually the most daunting or frustrating. Typically when ordering from Japan items will take around 2-3 weeks to land here via air, from USA it can be as quick as the same week. There isn’t anything we can do to speed up the process unfortunately as the majority of the time taken is processing overseas. You are welcome to request tracking details from us when we receive them so you can follow progress as well.

Step 5: Jump with joy when your package arrives safe and sound, it’s just like Christmas!
Every time we get packages it’s like Christmas again. Even if they aren’t for us we always enjoy seeing the huge variety of cool stuff passing through and the great reactions we get from our happy customers. We always like to hear about your projects and see where the parts are ending up so don’t be shy - send us some photos! Are your prices in New Zealand dollars?
Yes, all prices on our website are listed in NZD.

Do the prices include shipping to New Zealand?
Yes! Pricing on our website is the final price you will pay to get the product here. The only additional cost that you may incur is a local courier charge to ship things around New Zealand. If your order is over $200, local courier is complimentary.

Why don’t you have a phone number?
Currently we prefer to deal via online communication. There are many ways you can contact us either using our contact form, emailing our sales team, through Facebook or through the various online car forums we frequent. We may introduce a phone number in the future however due not being able to answer the phone all of the time we think online communication is the best way to go.

I can’t find what I’m looking for, can you get it?
Most often, yes! Because there are so many thousands of products available in the world we cannot possibly hope to have every single product online. Using our contact base in Japan and America we will be able to find what you want. Simply get in touch and we’ll do the legwork for you!
